Long story: I was sent to L&D around 1pm on Monday Nov 16 for a NST. I took a small fall at the park on Monday morning chasing after Logan. My NST was showing signs of placenta previa, as well as strong regular contractions. I had a few tests run, and they wanted to keep me over night to observe. My contractions were the same as I have been having for weeks so I didn't think anything would come out of it. I honestly thought i would leave the hospital without the baby. Well come 11:30pm Nov 16 they checked me and I was at 3cm. By morning my DR came on rounds and I was 4cm. She admitted me to L&D! Score, so ready to get this show on the road.

10:30am Dr broke my water I was around 5-6cm

10:30-11:00am: Sat in bed while they monitored the baby after water broke, strong contractions coming every 1.5min, I was really having to focus for the first time and breath through them

11:00-11:30: I wanted the epi but my nurse wanted me to try a few positions out of bed because the baby was still -3 station, and she didn't want me to push for hours....

11:30-12:00: Begging for the epidural, sh** had really hit the fan, I was around 7cm, and baby came down to -2 so she ordered it

12:00-12:30: The anesthesiologist came in to do the epi, I was dying, and begging him to hurry. Well by the time he got all his stuff set up and the line in my back, I was complete at 10cm, screaming it was burning. I honestly didn't even recognize the sounds coming out of me. My nurse called the Dr whose office is right behind the hospital. She ran over, I pushed during 3 contractions and baby Dylan entered the world! Even though he came really fast, I just tore a little. Crazy

During the last push the anesthesiologist pushed the bolus of the epi, a little late don't you think?

Anyway! We are doing great at the hospital; Dylan is such a cutie and sleepy baby. Logan met his baby brother yesterday afternoon. He gave him a kiss and hug, and watched a little curious george on TV. So far so good J
