We are flying to Florida for Christmas and will probably fly down there a few times a year since my mom just bought a house there and good friends of ours are moving down - would you suggest buying one of those wheeled car seat bags? We plan to gate check DD this time and after that will probably buy her a seat. What would you do? I question only because a lot of the reviews are bad but how else do you get the carseat through the airport?
Re: Not to beat a dead horse, but flying...do we need a carseat bag...
This. Plus if you check at the gate no bag is needed.
We always check the carseat with our luggage when we first check in for our flight. We've just used heavy duty black garbage bags (made for your lawn) and they've worked fine for us.
I wish I'd have thought about that.
Yup, that's why we have a car seat travel bag. I'm planning to stash our winter coats on top of the car seat during our next flight.
Where did you find a car seat travel bag?
