Diaper Rash Question

My DD has a diaper rash and it looks like little pimples and is red. I always use A&D every diaper change and noticed that when she wasn't in my care she started having these little bumps. I have been applying A&D and tried the aquaphor and am not trying the butt paste. It started last Weds. when I noticed it. Could this be caused from starting her on cereal, should I call the doctor?
