So after my shower yesterday I was having back to back BH. So I looked in What to Expect and it says if you have more than four in an hour you should call your doc. Well I was having WAY more than 4. It was at least 10. And my back was killing me. at my 28 week appt, my doc said not to worry about or keep track of BH. SO I just waited it out and I feel fine today. Has your doctor said anything about BH?
Re: What does your doc say about BH?
I was told if they are timeable and I have more the 4 an hour to call....I had a few one day and just relaxed and they eventually stopped but they did change my cervix b/c when I went for my follow up cervical scan the could see it.
If they go away after lots of water and relaxing your ok, but still bring it up to your Dr
I am fine now. This was all last night. Do I still need to call my doc or I am fine now because I feel totally normal again?
My Dr. told me to contact them if I was having more than 4 per hour or if they seem to be lasting too long
Yea, it can all be confusing. And the whole "i feel fine now: has me wondering if I should still call the doc this morning.
I was wondering the same thing about calling? I feel like they wouldn't really know either unless you went in to the hospital and were hooked up to the monitor. My doctor also mentioned that if at any time you feel like you have to breath through a braxton hicks you should come in.
I just called my doctor's office and I am waiting on the nurse to call me back. I guess it's always better to call just to be safe.
To answer your question for me, I think calling to be safe is always the best option when you don't know. Since you are feeling normal today, everything is probably ok and you just over did it yesterday. Let us know what your OB says.
