Max alt is really the only thing that relieves mine (though not good for 2ww)... Have you tried Goody's powder? When I can't take my script that helps a bit. Otherwise try drinking cold water (or Coke) really fast, or a cold compress on your head.
My sister swears by excedrin migrane formula, I dont know if it would help though because you said the regular excedrin makes it worst. I hope this helps! GL!
All that ever helps me is heating pad on my head (or a very hot, wet washcloth) and sleep. Sometimes I will take a couple tylenol pm to help me sleep. Sorry that you aren't feeling well!

I normally do the cold compress and I have tried goody's too...MH says there's a Goody's for migraines but I haven't seen it...hmmmm...what to do?

The only thing that ever helps at ALL is Advil for the swelling and caffeine to restrict the blood vessels. Doesn't get rid of it but I don't throw up every time I breathe.
I don't know if it'll work for you since you said regular excedrin makes it worse, but I take Excedrin Migraine, paired with complete darkness, complete quiet and sleeping on an incline (laying down makes mine worse).

my chiropractor actually says to put cold compress at the base of your skull since thats where a lot of them start...
I agree with you about the cold helping most people, but it just makes me more uncomfortable.
A chocolate milkshake and a nap usually does the trick for me.
