My first ring we got a pawn shop for a few hundred dollars until we could afford something better. It was just a simple marquie diamond on a gold band. Then a year later we got this one. I had to upload pictures because I could never do it justice. I wouldn't be able to capture the detail on the sides of both rings.
mine and the mr's wedding bands. my birthstone is ruby - his is diamond.
and the diamond ring is my engagement ring - the gold band was my dads wedding band (he passed away when i was young). so they were both pinned to the inside of my gown.
Sorry this one's so far away! One of the things I insisted on was that DH and I had matching wedding bands, which is why they're "plain". Besides, I'm Jewish and in our religion, your wedding band is supposed to be unadorned so that it's a never-ending circle. My engagement ring is a 0.5ct princess cut diamond in a 4-prong, white gold setting (although the prongs are platinum). DH picked it out himself and, as I'm a minimalist, I think it's absolutely perfect for me! Plus, the setting isn't too tall, so my ring never snags on anything
On the inside of our wedding bands, we have the opening verses to Bohemian Rhapsody engraved (it's our song). His says "Is this the real life?" and mine says "Is this just fantasy?" Funny story about DH's wedding band. He lost it in the Jamaican ocean while night swimming the second night of our honeymoon. Believe it or not (and I swear I'm not full of sh!t), after searching for an hour and almost giving up, I pulled it out of the sand. Needless to say, he won't wear it while swimming anymore and he got it resized when we got home.

Mind are similar to this, but with an emerald shaped diamond. The ones one the side are a little smaller and thinner band too
