Normal?

Doesn't bother me as long as it's healthy. Is it typical for an exclusively breastfed baby's mouth to always smell a bit sour?

I try to clean my LO's mouth as often as I can. It helps to get rid of the smell.

Zoey's mouth smells like this pretty often. I brought it up at her last appt and the doctor said it's just where there is milk residue on her tongue.

If her mouth smells and she spits up she may have a mild case of reflux. Helping her stay upright or lying with an incline, and frequent burping may help. My daughter had the same problem, and extended tummy time has also helped her.
