PSA: Deadly stuffy nose

Apparently there is a stuffy nose going around that will leave your DH completely and utterly incapacitated! Seriously...close to death!

Just wanted to warn you ladies lest your hubbies come down with a stuffy nose that makes them lay around in bed all.d@mn.day moaning and groaning and snoring. It won't allow them to get anything done all weekend and leave you with the baby to take care of and a house to clean. Not to mention all the effing kleenex they throw on the floor because they are just too sick to put them in the garbage.

Totally sounds like my DH when he's sick. Men are such babies when they get a cold. Drives me crazy. Wish I could have a 'sick day' but I still clean, cook, take care of the kids

My DH had the related "deadly cough" a month ago. He was utterly incapacitated. Luckily he wasn't put on life support and about a week of being completely worthless seemed to cure him. We narrowly escaped. I came down with it too, but it must have morphed by then because I managed to still take care of two kids and get up all night with a baby.

C had that last month! I had bronchitis and still managed to take care of the laundry, the dishes, the bear, etc. He ... whined for cough drops.

Thank you for this PSA. You really are looking out for the men of Western Washington. Perhaps that Y chromosome makes them more susceptible to these terrible colds?

So freaking hilarious! That is awesome. I'm sorry he's sick and being such a baby, I feel like most men are like that when they're sick. Thanks for the warning though, I'll keep an eye on my husband :-)

LOL. I have the deadly stuffy nose and am 38 weeks pg. I only took one day off of work, and have been on the go all weekend - he can buck up!

So hilarious! I definitely understand...my husband acts like he is dying with a sinus infection. He will become completely useless. When I'm sick I have to keep going!
