There are certain things that crop up in my dreams on a fairly regular basis, one of which is my teeth crumbling and/or falling out of my mouth. It's rather disturbing, but I've been dreaming it for years, so I get over it pretty quickly once I wake up.
Last night's dream was worse, and I'm still feeling odd about it- I dreamt that my hair was falling out, and I had bald patches with bristley (sp) short pieces growing up through what long hair I had left. And my pony tail was about as thick as a pencil. It was really obvious, and nothing I was doing was helping disguise it, including wearing a hat.
What is something you dream about on a fairly regular basis and/or something you dream that disturbs you?

Re: Awful dream this morning (plus a non-clicky poll since it's slow)

Lately I've been dreaming of Colin Ferguson. I don't usually go for blondes, but I just love him.
I have a dream a lot that someone is walking behind me with a shopping cart (who know why) and they are coming after me. their intent is to torture or kill me and I have to stay ahead of them until I can lose them in a crowded area.
This week the crowded place was Yankee stadium, that looked like the Garden from the outside and an old theater on the inside. I managed to lose the person and get back to my office, when the lady who was chasing me walked up holding Oisin in her arms. I grabbed him away and she laughed. The her male accomplice threated to hurt him if I called the cops and let me know it wasn't over. A bunch of co-workers we standing in the parking lot trying to pretend they didn't notice anything was going on.
Then I woke up. I was so terrifed I almost got Oisin and brought him into bed with us, but didn't.
OMG that would freak me the crap out. Worst dream I ever had in my entire life was when DD was little: starts of peaceful and calm, walking along a river bank. I start to look around for DD, going through cattails and grass, start to get a little desperate, then I find her shoe- I knew without a doubt in that moment that she was gone, someone had taken her, and I would never, ever see her again. I woke up sobbing uncontrollably, and I think I had her sleep with me for a few nights after.

I had the weirdest dream last night that I was shopping with my niece and this woman came up and tried to convince me that she was supposed to be caring for her instead. I held onto the cart (she was in it) so hard while she tried to pry it away from me, and was finally saved when Mom came up, and confirmed that of course I was supposed to have her not that lady.
Kind of freaked me out a bit.
I often dream that I am pregnant. Normal right? Except I'm never pregnant with human babies. In my dreams though, this never seems weird. The strangest one was when I went to medical for really bad menstrual cramps. The doc took one look at me and said "honey, you're pregnant." I told him it was impossible, I was on birth control, and how could he know just by looking at me? Then I had another really bad cramp and he said "No, no, I mean, you are in LABOR." I suddenly realized that even though I had had a period only 28 days before, I was indeed having contractions and about to deliver my sweet baby. We got the room all set up and they called DH.
Suddenly the room wasn't a room but a hillside in Scotland. It was next to a huge rock and it was raining. I birthed my papaya and cradled it lovingly. Then the shell burst open and all my dandelion seed babies burst forth into the wind to start their lives. Except...it was raining. So they all just fell to the ground and got rained on. I was a sobbing mess, knowing they would never make it if they didn't fly away on the wind. I kept trying to dry them off and blow them away, but they just kept getting rained on. I woke up sobbing, and once I was actually awake I couldn't stop laughing at myself. It was pretty special.
I continually dream that I have to pee, but the only bathroom is in a public place or in the middle of an open room. Very odd...
I've never heard of the tooth dream before, but was interested since multiple people here have had it, so I googled the meaning:
What is the dream meaning for teeth falling out?
A dream about one's teeth falling out usually means and symbolizes that the dreamer is having a hard time or a challenge getting their voice heard, their ideas acknowledged or feelings responded to.
This may be conversations with a particular person such as their partner, boss, or friend; or can be generalized for people who are shy, to include almost everyone they come in contact with. The dreamer needs to brush up on conversational skills, believe in the value of their own opinion, learn how to be less intimidated by aggressive people, and become more assertive and make their voice heard. Once they do that, this dream (which is a common recurring dream) should evolve & show improvement... or disappear altogether.
