Biotin for hair loss?

Someone told me try taking biotin to help with the PP hair loss. Anyone doing this and is it ok if you BF?

I am going nuts constantly having stray hairs on me, and handfuls fall out all day long!

    Let me know if it works. I think I shed a small dog this morning.. I'm getting a little freaked by the loss :(

    I think I may try it. At this point I'll try anything. I am starting to see that my hair is getting thinner, in fact it has never looked this thin in my life.

    I haven't taken it for hair loss or during BF, but I did take it to strengthen my nails and they grew amazingly well and fast!  I did it before my wedding because I wanted my nails to look nice without tips...I'd check to see if it's okay with BFing, but it should work well!

    a co-worker  of mind had gastric bypass and her DR told her take it to prevent hair loss, a common side effect of surgery. She said its really helped. Just not sure if you can do it while BF, but I hope so. I also shed a small dog this morning.
