You guys, I'm really going to have a baby! (NT scan mentioned)

NT scan was perfect, perfect, perfect. Wedge was jumping around, sucking his thumb. M and I burst into tears as soon as we saw him, because he looked like a baby. The tech knew about our first experience, and said right away "no hygromas, none."

The NT itself was normal, and the nasal bones were developing just right.

Wedge is measuring ahead at 12 weeks, 2 days. That's a little bittersweet - it was at 12 weeks, 2 days exactly that we lost our first baby at the NT. I think my angel was looking down on us today.

Only slight issue is the placenta is marginally over my cervix; they aren't worried at this point - there was no bleeding or anything like that - but they are continuing the full pelvic and modified bed rest until we get to 20 weeks.

So we can continue not having all that hot pregnancy sex, and my house can continue to be somewhat messy.

They said this is pretty common, and not to be alarmed, so I'm taking them at their word.

Thank you so much ladies, for all the T&Ps. I wouldn't get through this stuff wihout you all.

    beautiful, perfect miracle!  I'm crying.  I'm so happy for you Allison, this is wonderful news.  Congratulations on a great day and great report.
    DD(9)DD(5.5)DS(3)DS(born 2/1/11) July 2006, lost a baby at 8 weeks, natural miscarriage , May 2009 lost Zoe Eliana at 17 weeks no reason known, possible under developed organs. Lost two more babies in September 2009 at 7 wks 4 days. Had myomectomy surgery to remove a large fibroid in November 2009.

    Yay yay yay!!!!!!!!!

    And the placenta over cervix thing IS completely normal and you definitely have nothing to worry about as far as that's concerned. It'll stretch up and out of the way. Worst case scenario is you have a scheduled c-section.
