How much is your almost 6 month old big baby eating

DS is 25 weeks and 19lbs 12oz. He has been eating 4 8 oz bottles but now is draining them and acts like he could keep eating. Last night he woke up at 5 am and wanted a bottle. He usually STTN. We are getting ready to start to add some solids in the next week, Ped. wanted us to wait until 6 months, will this help with his hunger at all in such small amounts?

    We have a big baby and he was eating a TON of formula...40+ oz a day.  We started him on cereal and then gradually introduced some veggies...now he eats cereal / veggies 3 x's a day (4 oz each time) and gets 4 bottles a day of 8 oz.  It has def. helped fill him up a bit!

    My LO will be 6 months next week. I don't know how much he weighs- maybe 17 or 18 lbs?  We started him on cereal and fruits/veggies at 5 months and it definitely helps satisfy him.  He only eats once a day for now.  I BF and when at work he gets bottles so I think he eats about 30 oz. a day.  I don't think one week is really going to make a difference.

    My DS is about 20 lbs now. He eats around 25 ounces per day plus a couple ounces of solids. From my experiences with other moms it sounds like my DS is on the low side of milk intake for his age.
