I think Im going to stop puting diapers on him

Super Angry

 For some reason after his night bath getting dressed and puting his diaper on is like trying to wrangle an alligator. He screams and twists and turns , I try to hole him down but then I cant use my hands to dress him ! As soon as I let go he flips over and tries to crawl away.

I had to stop dressing him in the crib once we lowered it to the lowest setting bc at 5 feet tall I cant reach him. So now I dress him on our bed and for some reason that makes it even worse. 2 nights in a row I put on his diaper while the was crawling as a last resort.

He cant be distracted...u give him something fun, he stops for a moment and then twists and rolls over and leaves with it.

HELP !!!

    I wish I had a solution for that.  I'm just about to let him go commando as well.  We had a power outage this morning, and I had to change him in the dark, with just a little camp lantern.  I don't know how I did it.

    Same thing going on here, so I definitely feel your pain. It seems to just be a stage babies go through; we have three babies in the 9-12 month range in our family, and all three of them are doing it. Sorry I can't be of any help!

    I give him a toy whenever I change him.  It tends to distract him enough for me to get him changed.

    sorry, we have the same issue.  and at the same time she's SCREAMING like the diaper has nails in it.  I think it's just a phase.

    ive been giving DS a sippy cup of water or juice/water and it seems to help long enough for me to get it mostly changed. I totally feel you pain. My DS does #2's four times a day... its miserable!

    I have to give Curly a toy that he ONLY gets during diaper changes so that it's more exciting for him.  Lately he's been into bottles and tubes (like lotion and medicines), so for now he gets a bottle of lotion during diaper changes.  He thinks it's the coolest thing ever and he sits still for a little longer that way!

    We have the same problem.  He's peed on our carpet twice after escaping after bath time.  Now I at least have the sense to close the bathroom door when I have a naked baby.  I've gotten pretty good at putting diapers on moving babies :)
