What do you do when LO wakes up early from a nap? Do you feed then or wait until it was when she was "supposed" to wake up from her nap closer to the 3 hour feeding mark?
We play until DS gets fussy and wants to eat. Sometimes it's right away, sometimes later. The pattern is more important than the 3 hour mark to us.
This. Plus we don't hit the 3 hour thing on the dot all the time. When DS wakes up first thing in the morning he's usually pretty happy so I don't feed him until he gets fussy so sometimes taht throws it off a bit during the day to where he wakes up 1/2 hour or more before its time to eat again, and we just play until he gets cranky.
I try to get him to go back to sleep. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. If he doens't go back to sleep, it's mostly because he is hungry, so I feed him. Otherwise, I'll wait until the 3 hour mark.

This is what drove me so batty about trying to follow the Baby Whisperer; if she woke up too soon I panicked, if she was hungry before the three hour mark I panicked. BW had me convinced that 45 hour naps were OMG HORRIBLE but you know what, she's doing just fine and she has lots of 45 minute naps.
To keep the pattern someone predictable for her, I always offer the boob after a nap, and even if it's been two hours, or four, she always takes it. It just varies how vigorously and how long she nurses. I figure it is best to offer it whenever, than to deny her due to some schedule. Besides, what if she woke up because she was hungry?
I feed him. He doesn't let me do anything else. He's usually really hungry when he wakes up from his nap. And he is on a 2 1/2 hour routine.
I guess I only "loosely" follow EASY. If he's sleepy earlier, I put him down, if he wants to eat again before bed, I feed him, if he falls asleep on the breast, I let him sleep. It's more about the routine for me than a hard schedule.
I try to get her to go back to sleep. Sometimes she goes back down with a little pat/shush and will sleep to the next eating time, and sometimes she's just awake so I do non-stimulating stuff with her until the next eating time. (ie - just letting her play quietly in her crib, or on a playmat with one toy. No Jolly Jumper etc.)
For some babies, 45-minute naps are okay, but for DD she gets insanely cranky after 45-minute naps so I try as often as I can to get her to sleep more.
(After a longer nap she's all smiles and laughs, but after a 45-minute nap she whines and is fussy...)
I try to stick to the eating times though - we're on the 3.5 hour EASY now and it works for us... (I think the point of trying to stick to the eating times as much as possible is that it's easy to get into the habit of feeding your LO everytime they start fussing, even though they may not really be hungry, and then you can spiral into snacking where your LO doesn't eat as much at each feed, and therefore needs more feeds etc.)

I follow her cues. If it is when I am working, I try all my tricks to get her back to sleep. Otherwise, I just watch her closely. If she wants to eat, I feed her. If not, we chill. I don't usually go into full on tummy time or playing though. I also keep my eye on the clock and watch for early tired cues for the next nap.
I say all this like I know what I am doing. Today was such a mess, I don't know if she was on her routine or not because I was exhausted and cranky and totally off my routine. The goal for the long term is to provide her with stability and comfort and most of all love. Some days though, the goal seems to be to just keep her alive. She doesn't seem any worse for wear.
