We have an Ergo and an infant insert. We could not get the infant insert to work for us at all - it was very awkward and didn't seem comfy for DD. So we used the Moby exclusively until DD could fit in the Ergo without the insert, which wasn't until about four months for us. I've heard a lot of similar stories and have come to the conclusion that the insert isn't worth the money, but maybe someone here has had a better experience.
I just got that grey one ! I love it. Colin is 2 month and a bit over 13 lbs and there was noway I was going to use that hot insert in Texas. I just just a rolled up blanket & he's good to go

You like it? Good I was not sure about the color but I love the stars so it is not so boring
I never used the infant insert. I used a 30x40 fleece baby blanket. Now Brynn doesnt need one.
This. It works perfect but since it's too hot right now we have been using the Didymos wrap instead of the Ergo. I think the insert would be too hot anyways.
