One item on my midwifes list of things we'll need for homebirth us "large peri pads." I cannot find anything labeled as such in the drugstore or online...help!
What kind of "pads" did you use postpartum? Looking for natural items ideally...but on a budget. Thanks!
Towels for the labor? Or are they talking about your post birth bleeding? I used heavy flow overnight pads for a couple or days. My DD wears cloth diapers and I think an adult could definitely use small prefolds for bleeding if you want organic cotton/no chemicals. And then the baby could use them. But I actually have never heard of peri pads, so maybe I'm way off.
They may also be talking about witch hazel pads. They can help with the pain and inflammation down there. I bought them from the drug store and they are called Tucks.
