We have a First Years True Fit and an Evenflo Triumph Advance. We really like both of them. The True Fit is more comfortable and compact with the removeable headrest, but the Evenflo is sooooo easy to adjust.
We are big Britax fans just because of the ease of installation. Go to BRU and install a few different kinds on their "practice seat." This helped us make our decision.
And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
We got one of the new Britax Boulevard 70s, but won't be using it for awhile. They are pricey, but easy to install, VERY safe, and supposedly very comfortable for the kids. They have some of the best ratings out there.
Re: Convertible Car Seats
Any of the new Britax, or almost any of the old ones for that matter.
The old ones are being clearenced out in some places, so they're cheaper.
The graco myride 65, but it's HUGE.

We have a First Years True Fit and are very happy with it.
- one of the tallest convertible shells available
- removeable "headrest" so that it fits better in smaller cars rear facing till needed for height

- nice and cushy/comfortable for C
We will choose between Sunshine Kids Radian and Britax
