How did you meet DH
I am not sure if this has been posted yet or not,and I am sorry if it has.. I just wanted to hear the stories of how the soon to be December Daddies Swept you off your feet..How did you meet the love of your lives

DH and I met on a dark and stormy night in interwebs land. We totally met on AOL when we were 18. We're nerdy and he messaged me because I had something nerdy in my profile. *sigh* So romantic.
lol But we talked all day every day for about 2 months straight.
He lived halfway across the country and my parents were PISSED that I met some guy on the internet. It was very uncool in 2001. Eventually he moved out here to meet me and everything fell into place.
BTW my parents love him now.. haha

Here's my story from my wedding page days:
HOW WE MET One sunny, summer afternoon in August of 2003, after a day show at the PNC Bank Arts Center a mutual friend, Kristen, invited Toni to go out to eat at Applebees with her and meet her friend James and John. The four sat and ate, and in all honestly Toni thought James was weird. After that they met up a few more times with friends, but it wasn't until New Years Eve of 2003 where James and Toni really got to talking and got to knew each other better. By early January, James knew that he liked Toni (Toni on the other hand needed some more time). Another mutual friend of the two, Melanie, talked up James to Toni (basically talking her into giving the two a try together) And on January 21st, 2004 James asked Toni if she would "accept this rose" (please note this was done over the phone and there was no rose!) And the rest is history!!!
At the grocery store- I was cashier and he worked in the pharmacy. He thought I was cute and would stand in line behind the soccer mom with 300 bucks worth of groceries to buy his pack of mints from me.
) Love him! We even had one of our wedding photos taken in front of the store where we met-
Met on an online dating website, chatted for 2-3 months.. and when we finally *met* was at a local metal show. We've been going to that band's shows ever since! This was 2 1/2 years ago. Now that we've moved across the country they stay with us when they're on tour!
We got engaged about 3 weeks before finding out I was pregnant! Talk about good timing! lol
We met online through Yahoo. Mr.MM searched through the member directory and then messaged me. I was dating someone else at the time so I didn't really give him the time of day. Then I broke up with the guy and talked with Mr.MM for about two weeks where we learned that we lived in the same neighborhood all our lives, went to school together from Elementary School through College, his best friend lived next door and I baby sat kids that played with his little brother. We also discovered that he knew my sister and her fiance at the time and we had a few mutual friends.
When we had our first date he picked me up at my house and I knew as soon as he walked in the door that things would be good. He said he knew the same time too.
Of course he hates that I tell people we met online and just likes to tell people that we've been going to school together for a while. Yes it is the truth but it wasn't how we met.
He called me over to sit next to him in a bar in Dallas, TX while we were celebrating a win after the Oklahoma/TX college football game in October 2003. We talked for an hour and before I knew it I was yelling my phone number out the window of a taxi cab. He called a week later (he lived in California, me in Oklahoma) and the rest is history!

I went to Philadelphia for the weekend to visit a friend at college. I almost didn't make it. There was a huge snowstorm so I left a day late, then it was standing room only on the train. Half way there the train caught on fire and we had to stop, it's a freaking miracle I ever even made it there.
The first night I was there my husband came up to our floor and we locked eyes and it was kind of magical. I know, so lame, but it's true :-) He wasn't even supposed to be there that weekend, he came back to study for a test. Which he failed miserably because instead of studying he spent the whole night hanging out with me.
We've been together ever since February of 2000, got married in 2006, and the rest as they say is history :-)
I had gotten out of a horrible 6 yr relationship about 6mos earlier. We went to the same church but didn't know each other. His older sister asked the pastors sister if she knew of any nice girls for her brother. They then set up for a group of us to go to Dairy Queen one night. He was short, didn't like the way he dressed, but he did have a nice car. Lol! We talked for about a month but he used the " i'm not ready for a relationship" line. After a few months he came crawling back cause he couldn't get me out of his mind, haha! I then asked him what changed his mind and he didn't know but did say he thought I was some kind of goody girl, not! Well the rest is history and fell head over heels, Lol!
We met at a party - June 30, 1996. As soon as he walked in, it was love at first sight for me! He shook my hand to introduce himself, which I thought was really sweet. We were the only 2 people not drinking at the party, so we ended up hanging out & watching old Mr. Bean episodes. A lot of people ended up crashing there since they were drunk, so we stayed, too. We ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor b/c all the beds & couches were taken. lol
He drove me home the next day & we exchanged numbers. I had to finally come clean that I had a boyfriend at the time. But, we were on the outs. Meeting MH just solidified that!
Our first date was the very next day. He came to my house w/ his dog & we took our dogs to the park by my house. We've been together ever since. I was 15, he was 18. Aaah, young love!

A guy came into the car stereo shop I was working at with his arm and leg all bandaged up and the *cutest* pitbull I had ever seen. I asked him what happened and he told me he that the night before he was trying to get a fire started in the wood stove in his garage that just wouldn't light.... so he had a brilliant idea to pour paint thinner on it... which of course flashed back on him and set him on fire.
I looked at him and said, "Wow, you're a smart one, yeah?"
But then my attention went to the adorable dog with the gimp leg that melted my heart and I totally forgot how stupid the guy was.
Somehow we became best friends really quickly after that, a few months passed and we started dating, 5 years later we got married
I tease him to this day that he set himself on fire and got a cute dog just to get my attention because I never gave him the time of day when he came to the store before that :-P
We met on my first day of work at a new job in late May. We were at the same orientation and had to go around the table saying where we were from. He was the other person from RI. Afterward, we talked about what town we were from, discovered we were working in different branches of the same department and we were taking the same train to and from work every day.
The next morning we met at the train station, started taking the train together every day and became quick friends. He had a g/f and I had just gotten out of a long term relationship and wanted to be single for a while.
But...shortly after, he broke up with his gf. I had a growing attraction, and I could tell he did too, but I kept fighting it because I still "wanted to be single."
Long story short, he came to my parents' house for the night before 4th of July, which is a huge party night in my town. He had a bit too much to drink (well, a lot of us did) and I made him stay over. I totally expected him to get up and bolt out the next morning. Instead, he came to my hometown's parade, hung out with my family all day, helped my Mom and Dad set up for our huge cookout and I realized I had to give the guy a chance.
3 days later we had our first date, 2 months later we moved in together. 8 months after that we were engaged and a year after that we were married.
My old co-worker/friend was having a birthday party for her 1 year old son at Chuckie Cheeses in Dec '05. I have a little brother that was 8 at the time and I thought it would be fun to take him.
While my little brother played video games I waited for him at a table where my co-worker's family was sitting. I was sitting there eating my little salad talking to my co-workers dad when this handsome guy interrupts him and gives him a kiss and hug. My co-worker's dad introduced him as his grandson. My now DH stayed there with us and I kinda thought he was annoying and snotty at the time.
I continued the friendship with my old co-worker after I left that job and was invited to other family parties. I would catch DH looking at me and then looking away. I thought it was cute and eventually we started talking. I was really hesitant because his aunt is my friend! She's the one that gave my DH my phone number and 3 years later we got married.
It was 10 yrs ago and we worked together....Actually he worked for the same company just departments.. I saw him around here & there but never actually knew his name or spoken to him etc..
One day a group of people from work were getting together after work to hangout... So I went home changed & met up with everyone. While I was there I noticed my DH making eye contact with me.. We slipped away & started talking & really hit it up..I really didn't think it was going to go anywhere because I refused to date anyone I worked with...
About 2 weeks later my DH left the company we worked for & we started officially dating. He took me on the best dates,he bought me the best gifts.. Here we are now blissfully in love expecting our little LO this December....
I always thank my heavens that we finally met because he is the best thing that ever happened to me( besides my DD & new LO)
In 2003, I got a phone call from a friend I had gone to school with. He had got a job offer to start a ministry training program in Ontario, Canada. He wanted me to come along to help him set up the program and then to be on staff. I thought about it for a few weeks and signed up for the adventure. Moved to Canada from Pennsylvania a month after that phone call. The very next day after I moved, I was introduced to my future hubby. We became really good friends and a year later started dating. Just about the time I had to move back to Pennsylvania. We long distance dated for two years - driving back and forth for weekend visits. Finally got engaged and then married, and I moved to his home town in Ontario, Canada.
Met H in 2003 when I was dating someone who he happend to be friends with.
Didn't see him again until 2005, January actually, and the guy I was dating before we had just broken up after 2 years. It was a very stupid and nerve racking relationship. H had just gotten out of a 2 year relationship as well.
Anyways, we met up again that night at a party and ever since we've been together.
We were engaged in Sept of 2007 and married in March of 2009.

It was a cloudy Fall day and I sat with my nose in a book, taking the bus home, when this chubby guy sat next to me. He whipped out his cootie catcher, asked if I wanted to play and then he invited me over for cookies. We were in the second grade and from that moment on, we were the very best of friends.
He was in the boy scouts with my brother, played in the city baseball league with my brother. His sister was my swim instructor. His grandfather gave me private music lessons and his mother and my grandmother worked together. From second grade through senior year, we were both played several instruments in band and in high school, he was the captain of the drum line and I was co-captain. He even dated my best friend while I dated his best friend. Clearly, we were meant to be.
First day of college, we found ourselves sitting two seats apart in the same stinkin' class. As they say, the rest is history.
Wow this is almost identical to my story!!! DH and I met in 1998 on an instant messaging site (we were both 16, I lived in WI and he lived in LA) and we talked for four years, got to be best friends, and NEVER told our parents. lol mine would have killed me! During my sophomore year in college, he flew over from Germany-where he was stationed at the time-to visit me for a week. The next three years included a couple of visits, tons of phone calls, and we finally moved in together October 2004. He proposed to me six months later, and the rest is history!
