i believe that the dr. will give me a copy of the ultrasound....
but how do i make copies, safely? i am researching so that i do not ruin it and trun it dark. (i know you cannot lamenate them due to the heat) can you scan them?
I have always made copies of the ultrasound and nothing has ever happened. This time around i had a scanner at work and did just that. My ultrasound is safe and sound.
well im a happy person i did scan mine after i got it back and glad i did.. the next day my moms dog got it off a table and ate half my baby (in the picture ofcourse)
We asked at the ultra sound and she wasn't sure about scanning, so she burned us a copy to cd! I don't know if everyone has that option, but its worth asking.
Re: ultrasound copies?
My doc prints off a couple if I want, but I have no need for multiple copies. Not sure what I would do with them.
Yes, of course you can scan them.

i was wondering if the light on the scanner go too warm and turned them dark
i'd like a digi copy to post them online and store on flash drive

but i got the copy .. which is way lighter
I took mine to CVS and photo printed like 10 of them. That way it only had exposure to the light/heat once.
Although, I never considered exposure to the light/heat. Mine looked just like Kodak photopaper and I treated it as such.
