I see that a bunch of the "Baby Boom of 2009" mommies seem to be TTC again. (not this one, FYI! hehe)
What's everyone's status---
-Finished having babies
-Actively TTCing
-Not TTCing, but planning to in the future (when?--if you want to share)
-Pregnant!
Re: Poll: TTC status
Not TTCing now, but probably will in late 2011/early 2012
Although I don't think I'm part of the "Baby Boom of 2009" group since I had Claire a lot later in the year than everyone else (December), I'll add my status:
Not TTC! But maybe in the future. The first 4 mo. after having Claire I was convinced we would not have a 3rd, the last 5 mo., I started thinking "we might consider 3". Once Claire hit 9 mo, I started getting a bit of baby fever again (exactly the age Natalie was when I got pg with Claire)! But there is no way we're doing 3 under 3 so it will be a few months before we decide.
I'm a 2008 mom- so "pre boom", but...
Not trying right now & keep going back and forth on whether I want to have another. (DH def wants another)
Wither way, we have to wait until we A) get a bigger house
be able to afford another child plus bigger house. The $$ issue is probably going to hold us back until E starts school
ETA: "Either" way- I am not trying to make up some new phrase, that was just a typo :-p
Life at Chunky Gal
Baby J is here! Born on her mama's birthday.
11 pounds, 7 ounces and 23" long at birth!
My Bio
Yay! Good luck!!
We are not avoiding, but not actively TTC. If it happens, I would be thrilled. I may start charting and actively trying in 2011. If we don't have any success by the end of 2011 I would probably go back to the RE.
Oooo, Skirk that's exciting!!!! GL!!!
We are also part of the "wait a little while before TTC #2" crowd. We both would like to have another child, and I think it would be great for DD to have a sibling----my brothers were 10 years older than I, and it was a little boring growing up (sort of) like an only child.
I would also like to SAH after #2 though, so we've got to figure that out before we start TTC again!!!
It is up in the air for us right now. Some days I think Nic is going to be an only child other times it makes me sad that Nic may be an only child. I have no baby fever but if we were to have another one I wouldn't want them to be 3+ years apart.
For right now we are happy with one.

i'm sooo ready to ttc again! but dh is wavering on it still. we sorta "tried" last month, but i knew that it was too late in my cycle, whereas dh was convinced that his super sperm did the trick w/one shot hahaha.
then he got sick and now i'm sick, and so who knows when he will be willing to try again. but i'm hopeful that it will be in the next couple months.
Planning to TTC in the near future, and I'm just gonna leave it at that.
Wow -- 100 days to go for us! Woo hoo!
And ditto everything cate said. In my case, my ovaries would have to pop out a miracle *and* my LP would have to be longer than 6-8 days for the first time ever -- no more RE for me!
But I'm obviously not a 2009 mommy -- it's *plenty* hard enough as a 2007 mommy.

Not TTC right now. Maybe we'll start thinking about it in the spring. We both like the idea of a 3 year spread between kids.
Catching up on sports news...
Im starting to kind of get the itch but I know its not possible. So when AT turns 4 we will start TTC again, Im really in no rush.....its just not possible $$ wise. We are having fun with him and enjoying how free we are now so it works.
Unless of course DH gets a huge bonus or somethng which I dont see that happening. We would def need that money to supplement how much more my paycheck would go down.
Congratulations! I'm not sure if I missed your announcement, or if that was your announcement! But that is very exciting either way! :-)
This. I'd really like Wesley to have a sibling that's fairly close in age, but not too close. I don't want a big age gap like 5 years or anything. I'd like for him to be no older than 3 when we have another.
Pregnant
Very pregnant.
And as long as all of us come out of this one happy and healthy this is it unless we adopt in the future which is something I've always wanted to do possibly.
We have been ttc, pregnant, or recovery from a pregnancy since March 2007. Yep, almost 4 years. I'm ready to meet this little girl and put the ttc chapter of my life behind me.
