My labor, from the time I realized my water broke until his birth, was 15 1/2 hours. I feel like that's pretty good (quick but not SUPER fast). How long was yours from the time your water broke, or when you started timing serious contractions?
If you have other LOs how long were their labors?
Re: How long was your labor with your first? Just out of curiousity
From my first timeable contractions to birth was 15 hours....from the time that my water broke to birth was around 5 hours if I remember correctly.
edit: I want to add that I was very dilated for weeks and weeks due to PTL and having IC so my case wasn't a typical "first time" mom. I arrived at the hospital at 6 cm and had been 4 cm for a few weeks before that.
38 hours. But I had an unknown medical issue. I'm hoping for waaaay shorter this time.

I had to have a c-section as soon as I knew I was in labor(she was footling breech). But based on how quickly it progressed, the Dr guessed that it would have been pretty quick- 5 hours or less. I didnt even know I was having contractions but was 1cm. My water broke shortly after that and I was 3cm, and by the time they started my c-section about 20 minutes later I was almost at 7cm. So 1cm to 7 in less than 2 hours total.
#2 on the other hand was completely different. I was in labor (painful contractions that were 2 min or less apart) for over 80 hours. Not exactly the way I'd thought it would happen based on #1 LOL!
24 hours (almost to the minute) from the first geunine "painful" labor contraction. 2 minutes apart from hour 7 on...
Only dilated two centimeters in 19 hours. Finally took the epidural and dilated the rest of the way. Pushed her out in 15 minutes.
#1 took a total of 17 hours. I had an epi and I think it was slower because of it.
#2 took 7 hours and my water never broke. I progressed really quickly because I moved around the whole time.
I'm not sure when I really went in to "Active labor" because I didn't go to the hospital until about 4 pm and he was born at 8:48 pm so that's only 5 hours. But I noticed I was having contractions starting around noon that day.
18 hours... 3 hours of pushing.
Here's to hoping the next one is much shorter!
#1 - water broke and she was born 3.5 hours later (I had no clue I was in labor, I thought I was just leaking since it wasn't much lol)
#2 - little over 9 hours from the first contraction
#3 - little over 6 hours from when my water broke, contractions didn't start until 3 hours after my water broke
From water breaking (or consistent leaking more like) ... 34ish hours.
From contractions (they never built up, they started intense) ... 28 hours.

12 hours
Although I was induced and ended up with c/s. It probably would have been a lot longer
Water broke at 3:30a, arrived at the hospital at 4:15 6-7cm, epi around 5:15, 10cm at 6, pushed beginning at 6:30, DD was born at 7:09.
3.5 hours, at 38w6d.
