I meet a little boy at the Bellevue square play place named "Briggs" and instead of thinking "who the eff would name their kid "Briggs" I think "Hmm, "Briggs" is kind of a cute name for a little boy!" Huh?

for what its worth in the movie "The Abyss" the guys name was Briggs. granted I think it was a nickname but....

Wanna know something funny? When I was reading your post at first I thought you were going to be ripping on the name Briggs, and I was thinking "Hey, I kinda like it!". Then I read on and realized why we are such good friends. =p

I know exactly what you mean. Holland, Chancellor, Juniper. I think I need to take a break from baby names.

Oh, and I recommended Holden twice yesterday on the name board...I don't know if I was doing you a favor or not, but I did think it was a compliment.

I always recommend Holden to people too, Angel! I also recommend my sisters name which is a name my parents made up after many arguements about whether to name her Holly or Eileen, so her name is Hollean.
