S/O baby as a fruit size

With DD my good friends daughter would ask me every Monday how big the baby was and I would tell her what "fruit size" she was and we would go to the store and buy it.

It was a fun way to include a child in the pregnancy. Today, DD thinks that they are best friends and gets so excited to see her. I love that the fruit helped them bond in a weird way before DD was born.

    That's a really cute idea. I'm an olive this week, while I love my little olive I'm not a fan of real life olives. Maybe we'll try next week :)

    That is SUCH a cute idea... I'd love to try it with my boyfriends kids once we tell them I am pregnant... I'm really nervous about how they will take the news. We get along really well, but me having a baby with their daddy may be a bit much, but we won't know till we tell them!

    I was nervous when we told my husbands son as well. He's used to being an only child and center of attention, but he really took us both by surprise and was very smiley and excited! You never can tell with kids I guess. I hope it goes well!
