Tell me about your ipad. Do you use it exclusively? Do you bring it places with you? Did you get the $800 one, or is it not worth the extra money?
I have a macbook and I love it. I love typing on a regular keyboard. I can't see myself using an ipad exclusively, but part of me still wants one. Is this dumb?
Re: iPad people...Do you still use your laptop?
Yes, I do. There is a lot of software that I use, like Adobe Creative Suit or Excel, not available on (or really realistic for) the iPad. If you use your personal machine for just browsing and such, I know my sister in law does use her iPad exclusively.
I have the $800 one. I did have the 64 Gb non-3G one at first, but we bought it right before the 3G's came out, and they allowed us to exchange. It's nice to have 3G when we are on the road, and not have to pay for months you don't use it. I think it's totally worth it. We put a lot of movies on there for the kids for road trips (not skipping, yay!) so the 64 Gb is worth it.
