My mother is ridiculous, BTW

She said she is glad we are going to Ireland this Christmas, because that means we will be here next Christmas.  Why is that so important? 

She'll get this new baby's first Christmas.

I couldn't roll my eyes hard enough.  Really?  Because that's what it is all about, right?  I get that she is excited, but seriously, calm down.

    I think it's cute.  My parents were ridiculously excited for Gabe's first Christmas.  Not quite sure why since all he really did was pull up on the gifts and push them around the room still wrapped, but they were excited anyway.

    According to my mom I'm screwing up Christmas because this is the year that we're supposed to be away and I'm going to be home due to having a c-section 3 days earlier. Seriously.
