Sears vs Target vs Kmart

Anyone have their LO's pics taken at one of these places? I've heard good things from all these stores. I don't know where to take Lyla for her first professional pictures. Suggestions?

We went to Sears for Christmas photos and it was ridiculously expensive, we are better off getting them professionally done for a local photographer which we are doing for his first bday. It's more personal and it's actually cheaper. I have heard good things from Target and I know another bumpie likes JCPenneys. As for KMart they are owned by Sears so I would imagine the prices are similar.

I have only used Sears from your list and I would NEVER recommend them. For the money they charge I wish I had not gone there for my DD's newborn pictures. I could have spent the same and had a real photographer. It may have been the "photographer" that we had but I was not impressed. She had no ideas of how to pose or what would work well for a small baby. Their props were tacky and there were hardly any choices for backgrounds.

My SIL did KMart which bascially had an Olan Mills studio set up in the store. The pictures weren't that good and were wayyy overpriced. Do you have a Portrait Innovations or Picture People studio nearby? I would recommend them over a store. PI has a one pose special for $9.95 and you get a lot of pictures. The only thing is it's only one pose and I usually spend more than that. For studio pics, I've been pretty happy with them though. HTH!

We have taken DD to Sears for EVERY sitting she's had, and they're all AWESOME! I didn't think it was very expensive either..compared to a photographer. If you want to see any I could email you a few or give you my facebook link.

Sears and Kmart are owned by the same company so I would think their?photography?would be the same. ?I have not gone to either but have gone to?Portrait?Innovations and I was pleased.?
