ok, I have tried 7 different types of pacifiers and FAIL (ok, fine LO-you win as pacifiers arent all that necessary)
but I have now tried 4 different types of bottles and he REFUSES to take one. He has taken one type 3 times with success but seems like he forgets as when that same bottle is in his mouth, he acts like it is foreign to him and just plays with it or screams.
I need to go back to work in a few weeks and now I am really getting nervous...
Any recommendations?
Re: Help-my 9 week LO REFUSES to take bottle
we have been having this same issue. just keep trying!! i was finally able to get him to take it in his bouncy chair but day care will only feed him in their lap. after several bouncy chair successes i held him and bounced on the exercise ball. just yesterday he took it, no fuss, no tears while i sat on the couch. he is getting better with my DH but prefers it from me.
we do 1 bottle everyday and it's finally getting a little easier
have you tried a wide bottle? ds will only take bottles that have a wider nipple because it is more like ours. i use avent and he loves them, in fact its the only ones he will take.
