After the BFN yesterday and my cramps still here, I know AF is around the corner. I had my thyroid level checked again last week and it jumped up to 4.86 from 2.6 in 2 weeks, so the RE is forcing us to take a break until it lowers. To make matters worse, I have come down with a YI. When it rains, it pours. The only good thing? My dad is getting discharged today. I was really hoping to get a BFP as I think that would have helped him in his recovery... or at least make him feel a bit better and know that there is something for him to live for/look forward to.
For those who were on forced breaks, how did you deal with them andnot get depressed or go crazy?

DH and I were on a break this last cycle, but we couldn't have sex at all. Honestly though, With his surgeries and follow-ups, we were so busy that it flew by. Sorry I'm not much help, but I hope it goes quick for you and things get straightened out soon!
I'm sorry, Mo. I hope your levels lower soon. Good news about your dad, though, hopefully that helps a bit.
I had to take a cycle off and I honestly really enjoyed it. When you've been trying for a while, it's nice to have a break.
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.
