I'm a nurse, but I'm jealous of everyone else who gets more than one word in her job title. I've officially made myself an Internal Medicine Acute Care Registered Nurse to make myself feel better.
I'm a community relations manager for an organ procurement organization. We faciliate organ and tissue donations in the state, as well as conduction outreach and awareness programs.
I am also a nurse.....specializing in stroke and oncology. Deemariegirlie....I have thought about our one word job title too. Then I think who does the patient ask for when they need something??....not a geriatric oncology/hematology pathologist ........they ask for a nurse:)
Until last spring I was a political event coordinator working for 2 campaigns in SF and 1 in LA. I left my job because of crazy schedules, insane traveling and my own health... surprise-I promptly found out I was pg so it was a great decision.
I started working in August as a sub and was picked up by a middle school for a long-term in a special ed classroom. It looks like I'll be there until the end of the semester or until I go into labor:) I love it!
I recently quit my job in August, so now I stay home. I was working at a call center since the week after I graduated from high school. I really did hate my job and wanted to quit for the longest time. I'm so much happier now that I don't have to go there. I was planning on being a SAHM after the baby is born, but we decided to go ahead and have me quit at the start of my 3rd tri. Considering I had to get a doctors note to get my supervisor off my a$$ about going to the bathroom...we thought it best if I stay at home during the 3rd tri.
