Raise your hand if you've ever taken progesterone

It sucks!  It's worse than the injections and those side effects.  Not 24 hours after I started the crinone gel I got major side effects. Ugh!  What side effects did you all experience with progesterone?

    I actually threw a fit over Endometrin yesterday. To me the worst part is when it decides to "drip out" panty liners don't seem to get it all. My dry cleaner is going to have a ton of fun this month.

    I am taking 200 mg of prometrium at night (orally) and I have awful "symptoms."  My boobs are so sore, metallic taste in mouth, and I am even taking naps daily.  They are perfect pregnancy symptoms, which sucks!

    I was on 200 mg of the suppositories.  I had a lot of cramping and they were a mess!!  Since I am doing another iui I get to do them again!!  :-)

    The first cycle I took them I think I had worse side effects then the cycles after that.  I don't have a clue why, but now its more of an annoyance because of the "dripping" but nothing really changes.

    I am on PIO and suppositories right now. I have mood swings, sore nipples, and some cramping. My tush is sore from the injections and I am constantly gushing!

    I took Prometrium. Had really sore boobs, fatigue & bloating. Not fun...

    I'm having random pains/cramps in abdomen, diarrhea (TMI sorry), extremely tired during day, short of breath, bloating (comes and goes...helps to constantly drink water and refrain from salt), sore boobs.  I also had insomnia last time...but so far so good.

    I was on 300mg/day last cycle.  I had pregnancy symptoms like fatigue, sore (huge) boobs, nausea, GI upset.  I also had shortness of breath (nice to see that I wasn't alone in that) and headaches.

    It wasn't fun, but I didn't feel terrible.  It was hard to feel really, really pregnant and it be false. 

    Me - 40, DH 34 Married 11 years, TTC since 7/09 3 rounds of Clomid > Vivienne born 5/28/11
    TTC#2 since 01/13 - 3 rounds of Clomid, 2 IUI w/injectibles, moving to IVF
    IVF #1 - Lupron 20 6/19, Follistim 225 6/21, Menopur 75 6/27, Trigger 6/30
    ER 7/2 (8R, 7M, 5F); ET 7/5 - 2 8 cell, grade 1 and 1 7 cell, grade 1 Stick babies, stick!
    BFP on HPT at 11dp3dt
    Beta #1 13dp3dt 787
    Beta #2 17dp3dt 6,007
    1st u/s 5w2d showing one "good" sac and 2-3 questionable
    2nd u/s 6w2d showing one baby with HR 128bpm
    3rd u/s 7w1d - HR 159bpm - graduated from RE!
    MaternT21 test results: no chromosomal issues, it's a BOY!!!

    I also use crinone gel and have every side effect.  I think that the worst one was that I literally became a raging lunatic.  Other than that I was crampy, leaking, dizzy every time I stood up or turned my head to look at something, craving salt constantly. Its been a fun two weeks unfortunatelly I POAS Friday, I got a BFN but my RE still wants me to use it until I come in Monday for bloodwork.

    Yes, I'm on PIO now and the side effects are a pain in the arse... I've had insomia, acne, constipation.... oh joy.  Also sore but larger boobs, which my DH seems to like.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    I was taking Progesterone oil injections for an IVF cycle.  The shots themself sucked bad because they were huge and in the hip -EVERY DAY for 12 weeks.  I got a lot of depression from them.
