How long did everyone TTC?

We only tried for 2 months but I was really freaked out at my ob visit before we started to try. The nurse told me we only had a 15% chance each month. I love my OB but the nurse kinda bums me out. It really sucks when people add to the stress of you wondering if you and hubby are going to be able to make it happen. (P.S. both my sister-in-laws got prego in the first month) I'm pretty sure if i hadn't gotten pregnant in the first 6 months i would have been doing some hair pulling at Thanksgiving when they asked if I was pregnant yet ; )

I got pg our first month of trying and it ended in a m/c. We waited a month and it worked again the next cycle.

We started TTC this past June, and I got the bfp on CD 60, so...one cycle, but two months.

We've been trying since Feb of 2007. We had to do an IUI to get pregnant. Our first child took 1.5 years to conceive naturally.

We have been trying since Aug 2007............no baby for a VERY LONG TIME........the last summer we lost our first then lost two more this year, so we are hoping and praying no more TTC but loving every minute of my pregnancy.

It took us four cycles to get a bfp. I started temping two months before to find out about my cycle before though.

With our son it took us 6 cycles over the span of 9-10 months to conceive. With this baby, we were lucky enough to conceive on our first month trying.

For the first pg, 4 cycles. I started charting/temping on the fourth cycle and we got pregnant that cycle.

For the second pg, 1 cycle.

It took us 4 cycles to get a BFP. For DS it took 2 cycles so although 4 cycles is not a long time relatively speaking, I was starting to wonder if it was ever going to happen for us again.

It took us 6 months and that was 3 cycles. I had long cycles like 52 days until this one and I O'd 17 days early after some accupuncture!

Ever since I knew I wanted to have a baby since 7/09, I have had crazy cycles. I wanted to wait til DH was on the same page, so that happened a few months later, however he wanted us to be more financially stable so didn't want to give birth in 2010. We waited a few more months and then it took 3 cycles to get a BFP.

We were extremely lucky-- we got pg the first cycle we stopped TTA. I had been off the pill for a year, but this was the first cycle we stopped using condoms, and well... here we are.

I took me a year to conceive DD and we haven't stopped trying for number two since we got the ok to have sex at our 6 wks postpartum appointment. We've been at the fertility center for 3 months this time around.

I got pregnant on our first time trying but that one ended in m/c. Dr told me to wait one cycle and we did and right away again I got pregnant and hoping for a very very sticky baby!

About 6 months....But it wasn't until we took our first parenting class and learned all about ovulating & charting our dates that it really worked...So once we did we got pregnant right away...these past month. So 1 month for us....

This. It was a little over 8 months, but 10 cycles since my cycles run short.

Your doctor is right. You have about a 15-20% chance each month. You were lucky.

2 months and I'm very thankful for that. I've been off the pill for 8 months and started charting in Feb. I really think charting helped a lot. My cycles are kinda wacky (28-35 days) so I'm sure I would have missed lots of windows.

We tried for basically one cycle. We decided to start trying in May, but I was on a lot of medicine after a minor surgery, so my cycle was messed up May and June. July I was back to normal and got KTFU.

With DS, it look two cycles. This time around, I assumed it would take a little longer, as I'm 35. It took one month...I'm kind of surprised to say the least, but feel very fortunate and lucky.
