the pest control people are coming to spray today....and now i'm paranoid.
do any of you have them spray inside the house still, or not? i can have them spray around the outside to try to ward off bugs coming in, but we usually have them spray inside (just not in LO's room) as well.
what have you done?
Re: pest control - spraying in house?
i just told DH to tell them to double up outside the house if they have to (since he's never out there right now - it's WAY too hot), but not to spray inside at all. i just don't feel right about letting them spray inside the house. i'd rather have him eat a bug by accident than bug spray by accident.
we don't allow them to spay inside. A good friend of ours is a professor of entomology (study of insects) and he told us some pretty alarming stuff about pest control chemicals so we canceled every thing when I was (and now again) pg and won't allow any pesticides (not even Raid) inside the house!
If we find ants or some insect in the house we use natural home remedies to ward of insects.
That's interesting. Our pest control guy is a professor of entomology (this is his side business), and he uses a spray that isn't harmful. We don't have to leave the house and he sprays inside and out. Different professors, different viewpoints I guess.
