I always wonder what everyone does for a living. I am a SAHM for now until DS is a year old then I will go back to school to be a nurse. DH is a welder/farmer.
I always wonder this as well! My hubs is a microbiologist (and he has a second job as an adjunct instructor teaching Micro Lab at a local university) and I was a Realtor until I became SAH in March.
I'm a customer support specialist so I deal with people complaining all day long, lol and my DH is an IT specialist so he does desktop and helpdesk support as well as networking on computers.

If I would have known this I would have paged you over to TIP last week to see the troll. She not only spouted off a trillion times that she was an oil and gas landman, but listed Houston as her location and had her real first name and last initial as her SN. It took seconds on google to find her on linked in and see her full name and employer.
DH is an 8th grade science teacher and football coach. He was a mechanical engineer, but left the field to do something he loves. Just wish he still had his old income!
DH is a NYC cop, I'm a NYC teacher. Therefore, we are both very underpaid...
It is amazing to me! 2 of the most important jobs and most necessary jobs are also the most underpaid. I feel your pain.
What precinct is your DH in?
Yahhhh, it's rough at times, especially when the cost of living is so high in our area! He works in the 52 in the bronx but has been at the bronx detective bureau for the past few months since his shoulder surgery. Which is fine with me - I don't have to worry about him when he's just sitting at a desk all day! Where does your DH work??
I am a genetic counselor and my husband is a funeral director.
