ds has a baaaad rash. help please!
Ds is taking an antifungal medicine (long story...misdiagnosed as eczema...) and it's making his skin insanely sensitive and reactive. Yesterday he pooped while outside playing and I didn't know for at least 30 minutes and he ended up with a huge oozing red sore on his bum. We're in sposies for now because they are nice and loose and I have been putting lots of cream on his tushy. He seriously screams even when he pees in a diaper. I let him go naked yesterday for a while, but he still screamed when he peed because it got on the spot, plus we have carpet almost everywhere so it's a nightmare.
Anyway... question is, what else can I do for his poor bum? I mixed up a little something like sassycassy made for sam (combo of zinc, dibucaine, cortisone...) and it's helped clear up the rest of the rash, but that one spot is just awful. Help!
