Today it was 98 and over 105 with the heat index. Saturday and Sunday it is supposed to be 102 with heat index of probably 110 or 115. We live in southeast VA. I love hot weather but it is just to hot for me here recently!
The weather has said that it is literally the hottest summer we have had in years in the Boston area. We had 4 days over 90 last summer and now we're up to about 10 where I live south of Boston. We have had 2 heatwaves (stretches where the temp is over 90 for at least 3 days in a row) and the humidity has been in the oppressive range for what seems like 3 straight weeks now. We had a heat index reading over over 100 for like 4 days in a row a couple weeks back. It's HELL.

Currently in Central NJ its 95 heat index of 102. Oh yeah did I mention that it is almost 6PM?! This summer is crazy I think this is our 6th heat wave of the year & THE hottest summer we have had in decades.
& yes we are ALL hot. miserable & hugely pregnant. Great timing
I will be planning my next pregnancy so I AM NO preggo over the summer!!! Who's with me?!
Today in Sonora, California it's 95. But it feels cooler outside than that, the last few weeks it's been upper 90's or 100's. Nice to get a little break!! Going to San Francisco tomorrow and it's only suppose to be upper 60's there, so I'll freeze my butt off! LOL!!

Right now in NYC at 8pm it is 90 but feels like 96. There is also a tornado watch in effect until 1am.....I don't know why we started getting these tornados but this summer has been a crazy one so far!
It feels like a sauna here. I'm soooo thankful I don't have to go into the city like this....the heat always brings out the wonderful smells of the city - ech
Re: How hot is it in your area
Today in Raeford, NC it was 99 w/o heat index
Saturday and Sunday it will be 101 without the heat index!
ugghh... Heat wave had to happen the summer Im pregnant with no a/c (sorry for the whiney moment)
Not a clue what the temp is here today -- haven't stepped foot outside of the a/c yet.
Tomorrow I have an outdoor wedding to go to and it's supposed to be 43 Celsius with the humidex. That's 109 F for the US ladies. I'm going to melt...
