for any reason?
I just see it so much here yet I read on BG's site not to... I have some inserts and now my pail liner still w/ ammonia smell after washing. DD's overnight diapers are BAD. I wanna just toss some vinegar in the next wash or do a soak but I'm scared it will ruin them in some way. Is this possible?
Thanks, ladies!

Whoa, Luvlie is serious! Take my advice with a grain of salt - I've had no problems, but that's just my experience.

Oh my gosh. See I am SO glad I asked! I was going to just do it then I figured I better consult the guru's!
So if I wash/soak the inserts (microfiber) on their own I'll be ok though?
ETA: Also, what the heck do I do to get the smell out of my wet pail liner? my diapers w/ PUL are fine but my liner is STANK! LOL
Why?
I use vinegar in every load (rinse cycle) and have forever... no issues w/ any of my diapers or covers.
Vinegar neutralizes ammonia, so it's a good way to clear up the issue. You could always do another cycle w/ baking soda to make sure all the vinegar gets neutralized. Then just make sure you rinse good

Yeah, why? It's the ONLY way to get rid of the ammonia smell from my son's diapers. I haven't had any issues.
This.
