Cleaning out my FB friends list

and I am being pretty cut throat! I do this every now and again. I am so picky about my FB friends and sometimes I add someone just because I 'should' it's ridiculous.

Ex: I just deleted my BIL. I don't like him, we never talk so there is no reason for me to have him on here. (this is a guy who I see often too not someone who lives miles and miles away) LOL

    I do this often.  I go by the "Will they speak at my funeral?" approach.

    I do that every few months.  I feel bad sometimes but if I don't reply to your stuff and you don't reply to my stuff I don't need you on there.

    If you delete me, I'll cut you!  I need you!!!

    I've never done this. I guess because I don't post anything all that often on FB. I've also grouped everyone in my friends list which makes it easier to designate a post to be viewed by only certain people (like baby stuff only gets seen by BOTB, work stuff by work friends, etc.)

    I also hide obnoxious posters. For me, Facebook is a way to share pics easily, and to keep tabs on family and old friends without actually having to get on the phone with them. I really don't like talking on the phone.

    I just did this this past week.  I deleted a ton of people from HS.  I kept family and only people who I talk to on a daily basis or people who have actually responded to my stuff from time to time.

    I know this sounds silly but it feels a little more freeing to have people off my facebook that I never really cared for to begin with yet kept them on so I could see what they are up to.
