If your LO cries in the car...

I have a tip! I went onto iTunes and downloaded "Relaxing White Noise - Nature Sounds for Baby Sleep" and I burned some of the sounds onto a CD to play in the car. I've found that "Rain" and "Crickets and River" work the best. About 80% of the time, if Riley is crying in the car, I put this on and turn up the volume, and she quiets down and falls asleep. I know the noise between stations also works a lot of the time, but I can't stand listening to it for more than a few minutes. Just thought I'd share this with anyone else who has this problem! :)

    Great tip!!  I'll definitely have to try this out.  I haven't taken DD out for a car ride yet, but she's not too crazy about the car seat in general!!

    i think i'll try this too. my lo screams in the car. it's so frustrating.

    Thanks Michelle! :) Hydies - it's definitely worth a try! I have to blast it for the first minute or two while she's screaming, but after about a minute she stops and goes to sleep. GL! I have to do this every time I get in the car!
