What toys are in your baby's crib? "Permanently"

We actually don't have one thing in our baby's crib , permanently attached ... she's been waking at about 5:30 or 6 and after that feeding, she spends a little time by herself, talking like a MAD woman, sometimes, I'll attach her mobile when its clear that she's not going to go right back to sleep at that time (the 5:30 - 6 feeding) ... its like she sorta enjoys hanging by herself for a while.

We will attach her mirror to the side of her crib when she wakes up but honestly, she hadn't really spent that much time in her crib other than to sleep ... until recently. As soon as she would wake, I'd go and get her ...  but I can see that she likes hanging out.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is do you "permanently" keep toys in your crib ... attached ... if so, what? My logic in not putting anything in her crib was that I thought it would distract her from sleeping when she went down ... that she would maybe catch a glimpse of something after we put her in her crib and totally wake up. 

What do you all do? Do you attach toys when your lo wakes up in the morning or do you leave toys in the crib ... I'm worried that she'll be awake before I get to her in the morning and just be staring up at the ceiling or something ... TIA

    We have the Fisher Price Aquarium in her crib, both my kids loved it! PLays music and the fishes swim around and have soft lights. It comes witha remote, so I can just open her door and push the remote and let her play for awhile while I get DS up in the morning and get him on the potty/teeth brushed.

    It plays for about 20 mins also..and has a big ol button that they can push themselves when they learn to reach it. By far my fav baby item we own!

    We have this too and I love it so much...especially that it plays for 20 minutes.  We got ours as a hand me down from my cousin, but I always see them in consignment shops too.  HTH!

    Yep, we have this also and it's great! My DS often kicks it on which is hilarious.

    I sometimes keep Sophie or this rattle ring thing that he likes in there during his morning giggle time. :)
