My EDD if we should conceive this cycle would be around June 1st.
That would be great because I would finish the school year early, not have to use all of my saved up days for maternity leave, and because of summer vacay I'd have 12 weeks leave instead only 6...maybe even more if I decided to stop working before my EDD.
I'd love to announce that we're expecting to our families on Thanksgiving.
I wouldn't be in the 3rd trimester in the dead of winter and I won't be pregnant during the summer.
And it would just make me very happy if happened now, though I'll be happy whenever it does happen.
EDD would be a day before our 3rd anniversary! I would also get my BFP a week before my bday. I get to see some of DH's family for a wedding in November (I'd be in 2nd tri) so hopefully I'd be sporting a mini bump by then. I'd pig out for the holidays without the guilt And I'd love to be on maternity leave for the summer.
Ok now I'll be really disappointed if this is not our cycle
YAY birthday buddy!! Did you know our birthday falls on Friday, the 13th this year?!? :::Cue twilight zone music:::
And thanks! I really hope it does come true. I've never been so hopeful as I am this cycle.
My 13th bday was on Friday the 13th! Didn't realize it's happening next year. I'll be the big 3-0!
My 10th was on Friday the 13th...wait...that doesn't make sense does it? If you are turning 30 and I'm turning 26 then that would make us 4 years apart. Hmm....I SWEAR it was my 10th birthday b/c I remember it was a big deal b/c I finally was able to get my ears pierced and I had a huge sleepover.
Well anyway that birthday was nuts b/c it stormed like crazy the night of my sleepover (tornadoes too) and all the girls at my party ended up fighting and crying and wanting to go home. It was AWFUL and I always blamed it on being on Friday the 13th!
I totally just double checked an online calendar bc suddenly I thought have I been making this up for years?! haha. But yes, my 13th was def on a Friday. Maybe leap years would account for the difference in our ages/days?
I got to get my ears pierced when I turned 10 too! Whoa, this is getting scary

My DH runs a movie theater so, as the boss, it is nearly impossible for him to take time off during the summer when it's blockbuster season. A May baby would be perfect because we wouldn't have to fight for his paternity leave.
I would take it any cycle, but it would be perfect for us too.
- 1 because of the whole holiday thing. I would love to be able to tell our extended families all at once.
- 2 because with that timing and my husband's seasonal job, once I go back to work after maternity leave, he'll be home to take care of the baby.... I know, that's thinking super far ahead!!
Like other teachers, a May baby would allow for early start on my summer vacation, plus a few weeks into the fall of the following school year.
Weather is the other big factor. I'd prefer to not be fat and miserable through the humid Michigan summer, so a late spring delivery would be super cool.

Besides the reasons that apply to everyone (holiday bump, not pregnant during the summer), this cycle would be perfect because:
-Today is our 2 year anniversary, and we are going away over the weekend (CD12-15), which will be testing time. That would be a perfect anniversary gift, and I don't really want my period on our romantic get away.
-My birthday is in later May, and DH's is in late June, so with a phantom May due date, all of our birthdays would be close together.
I'm trying not to focus on how much I want to be able to show MH a positive test this weekend, because I know our chances are really low (we only just started trying).
My husband was home on R&R recently, it was our first cycle TTC. It would have been perfect, he would be home for good during my 2nd trimester. I would be due a couple of months before he goes off to one of his military schools for 2 months and then he'd be home and non-deployable for 2-3 years so he'd have plenty of time to see baby.
Unfortunately I'm suppose to start my period tomorrow, and I'm kind of feeling like that is definitely going to happen.
I was just having thoughts like this last night! FF gives you your EDD if you were to conceive on the current cycle and I realized it would be a day before my brother's birthday. Random, yes.
- If I got HG again, I'd hopefully be feeling normal again around Christmas time.
- We're not travelling anywhere for a long time from now.
- DS would be old enough for the Mother's Day Out program at our church by the time the new LO was born.
I haven't tested because I'm not mentally ready for a BFN and it's almost easier when AF just shows. If this cycle was it my EDD would be April 28! I'm a teacher so I'd be off before school ends and have the summer off, my 30th b-day is May 7th which is 10 days later, and my first Mother's Day would be the next day! Omg, I hadn't even noticed until now!
lLast month would have been really perfect b/c I am a teacher. EDD would be mid April so I would have pretty much the last 2 weeks of school off plus June and July. This month would still be great b/c I would be due mid May and would still have that and the last 2 months. I really don't want to be gone the first few weeks of school. That is the most imp. time especially for preschool b/c you are setting up a routine and you have to be even more structured at the beginning. The other pre k teacher has been gone on meternity and won't be back for a few weeks and her class is a big ole mess! Plus I am a control freak adn could not imagine anyone else being in my classroom! So I am crossing my fingers for a +opk soon and my BFP!

Well if we don't get pregnant this month, I'm not sure how or when we sill get pregnant since DH is moving away for work. He will be back and forth, but I guess it will depend on if he is here when I would be Oing. Also, the longer it takes us the longer DD and I would be staying down here since it doesn't make sense for us to move until I would be going on maternity leave since I get an awesome mat leave where I work now.
So we honestly need to get pregnant this month for any of our move plan to work. That being said we probably won't get pregnant since we need to. Sigh, TTC isn't all its cracked up to be and I was honestly thinking I would get pregnant right away since I have been pregnant twice without trying, but here we are on cycle #3
If it did happen this cycle for us, I'd be due early June.
June means to me... A summer baby (both my others are winter babes). Father's day is in June, so DH would have a special gift that year.
Oooh, good one. -adding that to my list
My neice will just be turning 1, my sis and I are hoping they will be close (if I ever get pg) like we are.
I would love to have the early summer off of work. I did not want to be super pregnant in the winter, I get a little moody Dec-Jan.
And, dang it, because I am ready. I have tried preventing for 15years, I have dated the most wonderful man for almost 8ys, we got married June 25th, moved in together and made the decision. So, let's have a baby.

Hmm.. I haven't really thought about why it would be perfect timing this cycle. However, DS birthday is on Halloween, so DH and I always say it would be cool if all our kids were born on holidays!
11/05/10 - Found out I had PCOS
11/08/10- Started Provera to get AF
11/20/10 - AF!!
11/24/10 - Start 50 mg Clomid
Received blood work back to determine no ovulation occurred
12/20/10 - Met with RE
12/21/10 - Started Metformin
03/10/11 - Started Clomid 50 mg
Still no ovulation
4/20/11- Started another round of 50 mg Clomid
No Sign of Ovulation
5/20/11- Last round of 50 mg Clomid
No signs of ovulation
6/20/11 - Dieted and lost 20 pounds and decided to take a mental break from the baby making.
Contacted a new RE
9/21/11 - Started First Round of 100 mg Clomid
10/3/11 - Ultra Sound showed Clomid worked! Received trigger shot
10/4/11- IUI scheduled.
FINGERS CROSSED!!!
This would be the perfect time for us, because the due date would one month away from when DH is eligible to be deployed. He could be there for the delivery at least... but I am hoping he doesnt get selected at all
Because there is no air conditioning in Germany and if I get pregnant this month I won't have to be 9mo pregnant, not to mention giving birth in the summer with no air. They don't even have air in the hospital.
My dude date would be June 3rd, which is the same day as two of my cousins' birthdays. However, that's based on LMP and I've had long-ish cycles, so it would probably end up being due more in mid-June. Me, MIL, and FSIL all have June birthdays, so that would be cool. It also would be nice to have a summer baby, but mid-June wouldn't be too horribly uncomfortable to be 9-months pregnant. I would only be about 6-7 months along for my sister's wedding - nice sized bump but not uncomforable. And as OP said, we'd get to announce the pregnancy around the holidays.
It would be good timing (even better timing next cycle) because it'll be summer. My mom is a principal so she would have an easier time coming to stay for a week or so if it's after the kids get out.
Also, we have a pool and I think it would be nice to have pool parties every year for our little one's birthday.
And last but not least, who wouldn't want the summer off for maternity leave!
Re: Poll-ish - Why would a BFP this cycle be perfect timing?

And I'd love to be on maternity leave for the summer.
Ok now I'll be really disappointed if this is not our cycle
1. I wouldn't be pregnant during the hottest times during the summer.
2. Hurricane season doesn't start till June, so that eases my fear of evacuating pregnant and delivering in another state (it's a fear of mine).
3. I'd be able to stay home all summer with the new baby and DS would be out of preschool.
4. I wouldn't have to use "vacation time" for vacations, woohoo!

I will make a "perfect" excuse for any cycle but I guess if i were due at the end of May I would:
1 - Be able to lose some weight before my best friends wedding (in which I'm a bridesmaid) in August.
2 - I wouldn't be very far along when I go on my cruise in December
3 - I would still be at work in time for my yearly review/raise.
I was just having thoughts like this last night! FF gives you your EDD if you were to conceive on the current cycle and I realized it would be a day before my brother's birthday. Random, yes.

This cycle would actually be bad timing for us:
1. I'd be in my first tri for our Hawaii vacation, and likely puking on the 8 hour plane ride
2. I'd be due two days after my brother's med school graduation, which is a 6-hour drive away, so I would miss him becoming a doctor.
3. There's a very good possibility that I would miss that same brother's wedding - they haven't set a date yet, but it will be May or June.
Even given all of the above, I really hope this is it for us.

1. DH and I share a bday... I would get my bfp on our birthdays.
2. May is end of school - DH would be home for the first few months after phantom due date!

5. I
