I really need to find a way to hip carry DD (30 lbs, 25 months old) for short trips around the hood and have been considering getting a ring sling. I am open to other suggestions, though and saw that someone posted earlier about paxbaby's trial period and advice on different carriers, etc. Tell me more!

    I'm doing a trial from paxbaby right now. I received a Boba and a Beco two days ago and will send them back in two weeks. The deposit..which to be honest I don't even know how much is, will be applied to the carrier I select. I plan on posting a comparison of the two carriers after we spend more time in them. I emailed Jillian to start the trial because it wasn't clear on the wbsite but she was very responsive and helpful.

    I borrowed a beco, oh snap and pikkolo - decided on the pikkolo, which should be here any day. It was great because I really thought the beco would work for me....just didn't fit right, so I'm glad I "rented" a few first.
