I'm sure you ladies think about this just as much as I do so I thought I'd ask. How many kids do you want? Do you find yourself thinking about it a lot and changing your mind? I originally said I wanted 5. I know crazy right? I still would actually love to have 5 children but I just don't really think it would work out well. We started our family early on and with DH still in school and residency, etc. ahead of him, we'll be in debt for a while. I don't like the idea of my kids being really spread out age wise either, so for now, it's a no.I like the idea of just having more until we have a girl, however if we have a girl next, I think I'd be really sad with just 2 ... so we'd probably end up with at least 3 either way. What's your plan?
I always said 5. When DS was first born, I thought I'd maybe do it once more, but now I'm back to 5. It will all be money-permitting, though, since we're going to have a hard time figuring out finances as it is w/ 2u2. I only have one younger brother, and I've always, always wanted more siblings. I'd love to be able to give my kids a lot of siblings.
We've gone back and forth... Originally, I wanted three, and DH agreed. Then we had DD, and for a few months thought that we would just stop after her. He was going to go have a vasectomy, and when the time came to make the appointment, both of us decided that we were unsure about it.. So he never made the apppointment.
I've always wanted to have at least two, because I don't want to have an only child. I have 4 brothers and a sister, and so I think that being an only child would be lonely...
In the past month, DH and I have both found ourselves referring to our next baby... so maybe there are more in the works.
I think if we do have another one though, two will be it. Then the parent to kid ratio is 1:1, and we don't get outnumbered.
Three is my definite max. If we have another boy then I might try for a girl, but lately I have been thinking that two would be good regardless of the sex. I'm stressing out about having number 2 because I don't know how we will afford to have 2 in daycare. I would like to have them close together, but for financial reasons I may have to wait until DS is closer to starting school.
I go back and forth between 2 and 3 and so does DH. We will see how it goes with 2 and then decide. I picture us with three kids, but I just don't know what our financial situation will be and if we will be able to juggle that much. We might be perfectly fulfilled with 2. Luckily I have a few years to decide.
I have always wanted 3 or 4. DH only wants 2. If we have another girl next then I think DH would be willing to go for 3 to try for a boy but if we have a boy I'm pretty sure he would want to stick with 2. I would like 3 even if the next one is a boy
DH and I both waiver back and forth between wanting 2 or 3 kids. We're TTC #2 right now, and I think after we have a 2nd LO we'll make the decision at that time if we want a 3rd. We do both agree that we want our kids close in age though, if possible.
If the next is a boy, we're done. If its a girl, we'll do at least one more. I think I'd like to have more, but I don't think its financially responsible for us. We really like to travel, and the more kids we have the harder it will be, not only to afford it, but also to find places that will be attractive to a wide range of ages of kids. Its sort of a tough decision, but neither of us saw much of the world as kids, and we really want to give them that. So, 3 will probably be the max for us.
We wanted one. We have one. We're completely happy with having just one. DH got snipped when B was 6 months old, and neither of us is remotely regretful of that decision.
If for some insane reason down the line we decide we want another child, we'll adopt.

I wanted 4 before we got married, but DH only wanted 3. We settled on 3, and now I'm going to either murder DH or have an affair because he's dead set on only 2!
We always wanted 3 but then my pregnancies sucked too bad so we said no more after DD. But then when DD was 3 months old we started talking about maybe having another. When she was 5 months old we decided we wanted to have another one for sure and got "lucky" right away! Now we are for sure done and DH is getting snipped as soon as DD #2 is out and healthy

After experiencing pregnancy, I was ready to be one and done, but I'm over that and would love for her to have a sibling. But I don't think I could handle more than two pregnancies lol..
I used to want 3 kids but I did not ealize how difficult it would be managing one. So most likely we are one and done, altho I am not ruling out that I may change my mind in a few years but 2 is max.
Two. We want DS to have a sibling, but we don't think we can handle more than two. Financially, we want to be able to pay for at least a few years of college for each of them, and to be able to afford to travel etc.
Our current plan is to try for the next one when DS is three, so they'd be approximately four years apart. Things very rarely go according to plan in our lives, though, so we'll see. Knowing our luck, I'm PG right now j/k
If we had the money, I would want 4. 2 under two, wait 5 years, then 2 under 2 again. We will most likely just have one more child in a few years...but who knows!

Before DS, DH wanted none or 1 and I wanted 3.
After DS, DH was done and I wanted 1 more.
Recently we've decided we're going to start TTC this winter. Then we'll be done.

LOL!
I like the 2 of them 2 of us ratio. We'll be sticking with that.

CONGRATULATIONS!
With the way he has been acting lately... 1.
More likely... either 2 or 3.
I always wanted 2 or 3.
DH wanted 1 or 2.
