how do I make drier balls?

Is it much cheaper to make them?  I'm trying to figure out if it makes more sense to just buy them.  thanks.

    I'm tempted to try this but I haven't yet.  I'm not sure either if it's cheaper to just buy them or attempt to make them myself.

    If you have left over wool from knitting it most likely would be cheaper otherwise I'm not sure but I also want to make some.

    IMO yes. I bought some wool yarn for felting at AC Moore and wound them up and felted them. They've lasted quite a while.
