So I was finally feeling ready for some sexy time again last night and it did not go well. I was still in so much pain!

I had a third degree tear during labor. Anyone else take this long to completely heal and feel good again?

I'm so frustrated! I figure I'll keep at it and that hopefully the muscle/skin will start to become more comfortable down there.

I had 3 stitches and I still have problems. OB just keeps saying use lots of lube.

I am right there with you! Poor DH. It is still so painful for me that we have only had sexy time 3-4 times since DD was born. However it does seem to be SLOWLY getting better.

I had a 4th degree epi and it hurt to have sex at 4 months. It's still not totally comfortable b/c it's so dry, but my OB said bfing can cause that, so yes use lots of lube!

The one time it didn't hurt at all I was drunk...so there's always that Wink

I had a 3rd degree also (episitomy) - still really uncomfortable with plenty of lube. Only tried it twice since it is still really painful. Hoping it gets better eventually Sad

I tore 3rd-4th degree and it took me up until 4 weeks ago to even start to try to have some sexy time. It still hurts a bit, not so much during the deed but after it's done. I waited until I could comfortably save where I had my stitches. I decided until I can do that nothing else could go there!

I had a 4th degree tear. I was in pain every day, sex or no sex, so we just lubed up and went for it. The first 2 times (several days apart), we couldn't even get it in. Then, for a couple of weeks, we could, but I couldn't take it for more than a minute or so. Eventually it was no more pain than I was already in. After pelvic floor physical therapy, I was finally pain free at 4.5 months pp. As long as we have enough lube that he doesn't stick to me, sex is not painful anymore either.

Still in pain at 3m pp, we've only tried 2x and after the first few minutes I was able to get it to a grove where it wasn't so painful but still hard to ignore. Lube it up and try different angles! Until I'm completely healed the only position I will allow is me on top, I'm too scared any other way!

STILL hurts...its awful. and i feel terrible for DH but its awkward and hurty every time we try and it just ends up sucking. maybe some day it will get back to normal......sigh.
