Yay! Got my carseat back

I had let my cousin borrow DD's infant car seat, and the bases for her daughter. I got them back yesterday, along with my belly sleeve, and WTEWYE book. Everything was still in good shape. I just have to clean the seat a bit, and the straps.

How would one do that? Do you think I can take the straps apart to clean it? I have the Chicco infant seat.

    Straps are spot-clean only- the integrity of the webbing will be compromised if you submerge them in water.  You can do that with the harness still attached, just loosen the straps as far as they'll go.

    I took the seat pad off and washed it and let it air dry, good as new.  Straps are spot clean only but I think you can order new ones.  I ordered a new head rest infant support thing since the one DD used was a little flattened out where she had her big heavy head, LOL.
