So...growth spurts... how long do they last?

I know I have been posting about this a lot... but I kind of at my wits end. Today LO has been nursing since 140 with a couple of maybe 20 minute breaks. It is now 6 o clock. She has been like this in the afternoon since Saturday. This is a growth spurt, yes? And how long will this last?!

how old is she? we are going through the same thing starting in the afternoon as well. prob a growth spurt. just keep nursing and know it will end-in usually 4 days.

She's 2 weeks today. I just had my DH give her a bottle so I could get a break and she ate 4 flipping ozs. She's going to be 10 lbs when this is over.

They say the growth spurts are 3, 6, 12 weeks (I'm not sure about after this). It's possibly your LO is hitting hers early. They last about a week in my experience.

We are going through the same thing. ?LO will be 2 weeks tomorrow and he has been insane since last night. ?He just had 2.5oz of breast milk and another oz of formula (we are using both because I got a late start with breast feeding). ?I will feed him, he'll fall asleep and half hour later wake frantically wanting food. ?He was such a mild mannered baby two days ago! ?I'm exhausted! ?I can't keep up!
