I just got my BFP this weekend, but we've had our names picked out forever!

We're keeping the girls name we had originally picked when I was pg the first time (and had a boy) and we decided on another boy's name over a year ago!

Ours are: Shay Emerson (Girl) Troy Emerson (Boy)

Emerson is my maiden name.

We had a boy name for years and then DH's cousin and his wife had a baby and used it. They didn't know it was our name, but we were pretty disappointed (especially me). We have another boy name pretty much set. We have a short list of girl names, but no middle names. I think we are open to change if we find something we love more before baby arrives.

Boy names: Cash, or Auggie (Gus; short for Augustus)

Girl names: Olivia or Isabella Grace

I like those names, especially Shay. Cute! We pretty much have our names picked out, especially the girl's name because we're gonna use what we had picked out before we knew DS was a boy. It's Brielly Elyse(or Elise). If it's a boy, all we've talked about is Owen, but no middle name.

Oops. I missed the part about sharing the names. For a boy we like Greyson Joseph (Joseph is for DH's brother who died a few years ago). For a girl we like Audrey, Claire, or Kimber. No middle names yet.

We have Sawyer David picked out for a boy, but NOTHING for a girl. I love love love Mariah Lynn, and am working on DH. We agreed not discuss any more girl names until after our 20 wk u/s.

If it is a girl, most likely Jenna after DH's sister who passed away. Boy names we do not agree on. Good thing we have 9 months to think it over.

I don't know if I want to share but we've had our girls name picked out since 2004 (she'll be named after a song DH and I both love by my favorite band, and it's on their album that came out in 04). Her middle name will be DH's grandmothers name. I don't know why i'm so secretive!

As for a boys name... we have NO IDEA. We've tossed around a middle name here and there which we both like, but no idea for a first name!

We have talked about baby names since before we were even married

We like Judah Christopher a lot. Joah Benjamin is another one we really like (it's actually growing on me, and I might want it to be the first choice, but we'll see).

Girl names are harder for us it seems. We like Ellie Elizabeth, but I'm not sure that's the one.

Girl names: Madelyn Ann (she would be named after me, my mother, and grandmother) or Josephine Marie (Josie)

Boy names: Matthew Clinton ( He would be named after my DH...actually just flipped his first and middle name) or Dominic Gabriel

We picked our names out a long time ago...back when we were still dating. :-)

We have a girl name picked (it was the second choice for DD), it will be Jael Nicole. We still have no boy name though, but we're thinking something like Isaiah or Isaac James. Maybe Ezra? We don't know. Here's hoping we're having a girl! Haha.

I do, DH hates them all. He can't come up with any good suggestions of his own though. I really like Eli or Benjamin for a boy and Charlotte or Elizabeth for a girl.

We have no clue what we are going to use. DH keeps throwing Lauren out there because that's my middle name and he thinks we should use it. We're also going to wait until the baby is born to find out if we're having a boy or girl this time, so it's going to be extra hard to chose names, I think.

Nope. DH bought me a baby name book for mother's day, but I don't really want to look at it.

Something about it seems so early to me. I'm still petrified that I'm going to wake up from this dream and find out it didn't really work and we're not really pregnant.

Yeah. I'm an optimist.

Thank you, I do too. DS is named Nolan, so I think they go together good. I'm actually going to be sad if we do have a girl this time because that means we won't get to use our boy name.

Our girl names haven't changed: Nora and Claire (or some combination thereof)

Our runner-up names for Isaac were Ethan and Liam. I'm not sure if we'll stick with those or start from scratch. It's going to be a long 15 weeks before we know what we're having!

The middle name will be Jude no matter what - after my mom Judy. I think it's a little more stressful this time because I feel like the name really has to go with Eleanor.

We have a short boy list from the first time I was pregnant - Samuel (Sam), August, or Benjamin

For girls I love Penelope, and we both like Phoebe. We also both like Charlotte, but our last name starts with a "SH" sound, so they sound horrible together.

The other day DH said his favorite names are Phoebe and Sam. We'll see...

We have a girl name already since it was the other option for DD and I kind of promised DH. We kick around boy's names once in a while but haven't lighted on anything yet.

Girl: Grace Katherine (we like this middle name but it we'd like one with some family significance so it may change)

Boy: I like Abraham "Bram", Archer, Clark, Roland, Silas (middle name: Edward. It's my dad's and my brother's)

Shay is adorable!

i like traditional, so in favor of family:

Anthony (i'm italian and my grandfather would roll-over in his grave if i didn't name my boy Anthony)

Gwyneth, Abby, or Audrey for a girl. I love "A" names but my SIL who is pregnant and due any day has said she likes Audrey better then her names.(my mistake telling her when i didn't know she was pregnant and thought they were done with kids)

we're not set on middle names. my middle name is my grandmothers and i think my mom would be super offended if i didn't use her name as a middle, but i'm not that into it. Do i suck it up any way for family sake? it would be Gwyneth Maureen if i went with my mom's name.

We decided to choose the first names but use family names for middle names.

Girls: Emma Katharina or Alexa Marie. Katharina is my grandma's name. Marie is my MIL's middle name.

Boys: Connor Thomas or Aidan Thomas (Thomas is my husband's name)

We decided on Olivia Anne for a girl a couple days ago. Boy name is up in the air. I like Henry Jack or Henry James, he likes Brian Robert. Hopefully it's a girl!

For a girl, I love Amy Elizabeth, but also like the names Allison, Melanie, and Lauren.

For a boy, it's definitely Matthew, but the middle name is up in the air... Robert (for DH), John (for my dad), or James.

Girl: Violet Leigh

Boy: Mark William Jr ( husband was a jr, till his mom remarried someone who adopted him, so he's no longer a Jr.. But the kid the dad and mom had together, is a Jr. Also, they're all Italians, so I think the Jr deal is important)

Girl: Charlotte Nichole

Boy: Maxwell Ringling or Victor Ringling

It took me 8 YEARS to convince my husband that we should not name our boy the third. I come from a family where grandpa, dad, and brother all have the same fist name but different middle names and it was still confusing!

Boy: Alexander Samuel, Zachary Lewis (Lewis after my father) or Kadence Ambrose (Ambrose after FIL -- not too fond of that).

Girl: Kailyn Rose or Kailyn Shavon (my twins name is Shavon Rose)
My twin died when I was 8 so I've always wanted to name a girl after her.

I really want Rose but my SIL named her daughter that so I feel I should use Shavon. Not really sure I like Kailyn Shavon.. so .. Any other name suggestions to go with it???
