Personally I say "no...you don't have to suck it up" but that's just me. My mom's first name is my grandmother's middle name, and my middle name is my mom's first name.  The name is Suzanne.  Although I don't dislike the name, it's just not my style.  I do feel a little bad and I'm hoping she doesn't take offense (I don't think she will) but a name lasts a lifetime and ultimately is the parent's decision, imho. Gwyneth is a great name.

Girls: Emma Katharina or Alexa Marie.  Katharina is my grandma's name.  Marie is my MIL's middle name.

Boys: Connor Thomas or Aidan Thomas (Thomas is my husband's name)

I LOVE all of your names...I'm partial to Aidan though .

I love the name Shavon... Why not Shavon for a first name? I'm thinking of variations for Kailyn...

How about Shavon Kaia (KIE-AH). Just a suggestion! Or another flower...Kailyn Iris?

 Only reason I don't want a girl named after my twin with same first name is that it would just feel awkward to me. Kailyn Iris I like, but Rose was Shavon's middle name which is why I was going with that first. My friend suggested Embry Shavon or Emmalyn Shavon... not sure what I think about those yet..
