I did look at it yesterday. I still think you DID ovulated when FF says you did. Everything lines up. CM, OPK, temp shift.

I have no clue what to tell you. You've been spotting your whole LP, and now you're at 23dpo with no +HPT. I iz confuzzled. I'm sorry I am no help. I can't wait for you to get into the doctor and get some answers.

Ah, I see. So it's not a regular thing. Do you often have to get up and pee in the middle of the night? If so, I would adjust my temp time next cycle if you're not pregnant yet.

Also, I use my cell as my alarm so hubby can't go and pull that kind of crap on me lol. Hope you ovulate soon. I bet it happens any day now.

It's really not that nutty. This is of course coming from me who hasn't had a natural AF in 12 years. You'll take an hpt and if it is negative, you'll be given Provera.

I do not think you o'd yet. Keep up with OPKs and temping. The open circles may throw FF off a bit.

It really does look like FF is correct. As for a 23 day LP that is really strange. I'm sorry I don't know what else to say about it. I hope the doc gets back to you soon and you get some answers.

No you don't round. I don't think anyone here uses TCOYF software. You should sign up for FertilityFriend.com. It's the most widely used and almost all the ladies are familiar with interpreting charts from it. Also going to the 100th allows you to see smaller temp shifts which may be necissary in pin pointing ovulation

I do not use the CVS so I'm not sure. I believe Kerr in this post does though so give her a shout to see if she knows

I do have the CVS BBT.

It is supposed to store two temps. Mine stored 97.70 and then stores every days temps and that is it. I don't know if they are defective or what but that 97.70 is always there.

When you recall the memory, the first flashed temp isn't your most recent?

I thought my CVS BBT was defective as well... I was so pissed for the first month because I couldn't get it to recall my last temp (just the 97.70 temp), but then I finally figured it out. If you HOLD DOWN the button for a few seconds, it will recall your last temperature. I don't know why the instructions don't seem to mention this little detail.... it's SOOOO annoying. Give it a try though!

Why not? If she gets a reading of 97.18 and her software only lets her mark it to the tenth degree, marking 97.2 would be more accurate than 97.1.

For 8 cycles, I've charted only to the 10th degree and FF has never had any trouble detecting ovulation.

Sorry that came out wrong. I didn't mean to say "no absolutely not, don't round" I should have elaborated and said going to the 100th picks up smaller shifts. Some don't need to and some do.

Yes, absolutely round up/down if your software only allows to the 10th.

FWIW, I agree that FF is the superior software from what I have read, although I've not actually used the TCOYF personally.

I am thinking about signing up for fertility friend, but my job monitors our internet use, and I'm nervous about "fertility" software showing up in my history! (not that thebump is any better..) So I just have a hard copy print out at home. And thank you, I will try the "holding down" technique!

If its been a while - are you normally pretty regular?

Only been off BC for about 6 months. Every cycle before this one was pretty regular (each one 2-3 days longer than the last, but regular otherwise). I think I should just chalk it up to stress. DH is in California for 3 months, and DD just had major surgery, so I have been insanely stressed out. It's all just making me crazy!!

Not necessarily but most seem to think so.

I also am a mouth breather and temp vaginally. Can't hurt to try it next cycle.

Oh wow. I'm sorry you have so much crap going on.

Unfortunately, your doc may want you to wait this one out a little longer before giving you the provera. Hopefully everything just evens out on its own and you don't have to take it.

Temping vaginally may be more accurate. A lot women have seen prettier charts once they start temping vaginally.

I too am a mouth breather and my charts, which aren't linked b/c the bump hates me, show my shift every month. I temp by mouth

SOME people have had trouble with this. Maybe try a cycle orally, and if your temps are really erratic then switch to vaginal temping.

Joining the party a little late. I posted about this early today, but didn't get a lot of replies (maybe not a lot to give). But I'll ask again anyway for the current crowd.

WTF is up with my chart? I really thought I'd get a temp spike today b/c of the + OPKs and EWCM. I've now had 2 days of - OPKs (3 counting today) and no spike. What gives? I hope it spikes tomorrow. I'll be sad if my body decided not to O. (BTW, the open circles are due to my waking up a bit earlier...but only by 30-45 min).

This is another OPK ? for the unofficial OPK week. I am still early in my cycle, but had the urge to start once- a- day OPK's on Wednesday. The test line was verrry faint, as I expected. On Thursday in the afternoon the test line was much darker, but still not a positive. I decided to test this am and the test line was even darker than this morning, but not darker than the control line. So it seems like I am getting a fade in this month. Would you continue to test every am and pm? And. . .what is the earliest in your cycle that you have gotten + OPK's or comfirmed ovulation? I had a + OPK on day 9 three cycles ago. It's so early, I am skeptical. TYIA!

I hope so! It's already been much longer than 36 hours, though, which is why I'm all baffled. Though Weds, my OPK was *almost* positive, so maybe that was the end of my surge (if it even works that way, I have no idea). I just want to O already so that this cycle can end and I can officially TTC!

1. Yes, I'd test twice in a day when you think you're getting close. Heck, I tested 3 times a day when I thought I was getting close.

2. This is only my 3rd cycle, but the earliest O date for me was CD19.

The dollar tree tests are good. I would use the cheapies and then in the event I actually got a + I would verify with a FRER. A lot of us are buying the cheapie OPK and HPT kits from Amazon. You get 40 OPKs and 10 HPT's for around 11.00. This is what I am using this cycle and it is saving me a bunch of $. Good luck.

I definitely say keep testing, as much as you want. You'd be more frustrated with missing your surge than you would be with wasting a bunch of money on -opk's.

Brandywine, I can't quote for some reason sorry!I would do 2/day since they are getting darker. My opks get darker as I get closer to O. My cycle is a bit longer so I don't get +opks until later than cd19 usually. I O any where from cd 18-23. If you O earlier you will see + earlier. Keep going and don't stop until FF confirms O with your temps.

My CVS BBT also stores 97.7 and my last temp. Are you holding down the button to see your last temp or are you pressing and releasing? I have to hold the button down to see the last temp.
