No cloth diapers for awhile....

I'm silly but feeling kind of sad!  This week we've really pushed the potty training, and Calvin's doing great.  Still has accidents of course, but using the potty at least twice as often as accidents.  And he figured out that he can poop on the potty, though doesn't always make it.

BUT, he already knows that diapers are for peeing in, so he can't wear them during the day anymore.  To top it off, he's now complaining that his diapers are too tight when we'd put them on him for bed and nap, so it looks like we have to put them away until Oliver needs them.

I'm sad, but happy.  For now we're going to use Nighttime Pullups, and during the day we have several waterproof trainers and regular trainers as well as plenty of underwear, and I think I'll just toss those dirty's in with a load of towels or something every few days.

I would love overnight cloth trainer recommendations!  They need to look fairly like underwear, though I suspect anything new could be called underwear.  DH is hesitant to buy more training pants (suggested getting snap off ones last week and he said the were too pricey) but I'm thinking once we're washing diapers on a regular basis again, why not?  And prior to that, even if he's perfect during the day, I'm sure I can dig up a load of something to wash every couple of days!  We'll see...it kills me to use disposable stuff...

  • We use a sidesnapping pocket loosely snapped for a pull up. The HH trainers are supposed to be good.  Maybe those Superundies would work for you- they have good reviews.

  • We tried the Fuzzi Bunz snapped for trainers, but he knows they're diapers and for peeing in.  Little stinker.

I think I'm going to keep researching overnight cloth trainers, and maybe by the time we get through this one pack DH bought, I'll convince him to buy some.  I think as far as daytime goes, we'll get away with the Gerber type stuff we have...it's just a pain if he poops.
